Every project is unique and the design process reflects this, but services tend to include the following components.
Design Brief
Sue‘s first step is always to obtain an in-depth brief, which she uses to prepare a detailed design brief, setting out details of your project and its unique design requirements, together with proposed design fees.
Interior Layouts
After discussing your practical and aesthetic aspirations with you and with your architect, Sue will translate your wishes into a number of layouts for you to select between, creating aspirational yet achievable designs that will stand the test of time. She will work with you to finesse your chosen layout into a final design that provides the basis of the detailed design phase.
Detailed designs
Sue is adept at preparing lighting plans and specifications, as well as detailed designs for cabinetry, kitchen and bathroom design. She is also happy to work alongside your specialist kitchen or bathroom supplier to ensure that their designs work with the overall design approach of the project and can provide assistance with selection of finishes, colours and appliances.
Visual Concepts
Sue’s in-depth experience and knowledge of furniture and finishes allows her to combine the best of specially-selected bespoke suppliers with high street retailers, to create a truly unique and comprehensive design for your home.
Onsite liaison and assistance
Sue will work as part of your on-site team, helping to resolve site questions and to bring the project to an efficient and successful conclusion.
